I began my creative career while playing in the mud with my sister. Baking mud pies in the sun eventually solidified into my "early work." I later expanded my artistic endeavors with polaroid film (circa 1982) and the rest is history. ... Although I studied photography at Art Center College of Design and completed my BFA at UCLA, I always preferred listening to secrets, and have since changed careers (c'est la vie). Ceramics has become a Sunday afternoon hobby (which my husband fears will "blow up" the basement due to unruly firing methods). My large format view camera collects dust while I experiment with my cellphone and a cheap digital camera from a bulk superstore (both provide me with the instant gratification of consuming the world alive...)
